Trinidad spinach" refers to a leafy green vegetable commonly grown and consumed in Trinidad and Tobago. Also known as "dasheen bush" or "taro leaves," Trinidad spinach belongs to the same family as taro root and is often used in Caribbean cooking. It has a slightly bitter taste and is rich in vitamins and minerals, making it a nutritious addition to soups, stews, and stir-fries.

1 bunch spinach
3 cloves garlic
1/4 onion, chopped
oil
salt to taste
Step 1: Chop fresh garlic
Step 2: Chop onion
Step 3: Add garlic and onion to oiled pan and allow to char
Step 4: Add spinach and cover, heat should be about 6
Step 5: Add salt to taste and stir
Step 6: Let spinach cook an additional 5 minutes, and enjoy!
